We are an Irish Manufacturer of superior quality, sustainable and recyclable paper bags. We operate within a wide range of sectors including pharmacies, retail shops and food industry.

We are focused on being a local and trusted European manufacturer of paper bags, ensuring our products are safe for the environment. Our fully automated paper bag and printing machines produce superior quality branded and unbranded paper bags.

Through our existing business of surgical face mask manufacturing, medical refrigeration and calibration, we have established a close and trusted relationship with many key stakeholders in the medical industry including the HSE, public/private hospitals, pharmacies and healthcare providers across Ireland and UK.

Ace Packaging is a new addition to the manufacturing division of Ace Group, established in 1971, with office, warehouse and manufacturing space of over 45,000 sq. ft., based in Blessington, County Wicklow. Ace Group specializes in supplying medical and commercial refrigeration to the healthcare, hospitality and retail sectors in Ireland, the UK and mainland Europe.

Our Founder

Two decades in medical equipment supply, Robin Gardiner is the managing director of Ace Group and founder of Humana Healthcare. He has over 20 years of experience in the field of importing and distributing commercial and medical refrigeration. After completing his school education in King’s Hospital, he studied a degree in European Business with Spanish at Leicester University and worked in the UK and Spain.

​He subsequently joined the family business in Ireland (Ace Group) and developed its product range,by introducing personalised product branding and acquiring new business partners. Robin places a priority on relationships and many of his father’s original customers continue to work with him today. As such, he has established long-standing relationships with manufacturers in Europe and the Far East.

The company’s 51-year heritage  in the supply of medical refrigeration and calibration coupled with key stakeholder partnerships has allowed it to seamlessly shift first into surgical face mask manufacturing and now paper bag manufacturing.

​In a nutshell, Robin is best described as a perennial optimist, an adventurer, and a solution-focused individual. In his leisure time, he enjoys keeping fit, doing yoga, and diving.

Manufacturing

Ace Packaging utilises state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment and lean management principles to ensure that we meet and exceed the highest standards in the manufacture of Paper Bags. Our fully automated manufacturing process guarantees product uniformity and superior finished quality with limited operator contact.
When it comes to your product and your brand, we know there is no “one-size-fits-all” approach. Creating a bag that promotes your business is what we do best. If that means a custom size, specialty paper, or other modification, we can do that. We manufacture custom packaging for food service, retail, industrial, and medical products.
